Cloud as a Service

Data publikacji:

Your Own Public or Private Cloud. This is offered by the Cloud Vendor Module, a unique feature of the Cloud Management Portal (CMP), the WebDisk Cloud Computing system.

Your Computing Cloud, that is launched under any internet domain and with appropriately customized branding. Completely under your control, without specialized knowledge, without the need to invest enormous funds in hardware infrastructure.

Public or Private – You Choose

The launched environment can have the nature of a typical Private Cloud – only for you, your organization, or your clients, without the possibility of external registration. It can also have the nature of a Public Cloud, open to any client who registers through the publicly available CMP portal. The choice is entirely yours.

Our CMP portal is fully localized (the main language is English), we support currencies: PLN, EUR, USD. The branding can be personalized for your organization, the portal has a built-in customer support module (service desk).

Hardware Layer – How Does It Work?

Dedicated Variant

Our client (cloud vendor) decides how many dedicated servers they need. Servers are managed by the Cloud Orchestrator (within the overall hardware pool) via the CMP portal, and their capacity is completely reserved for the client. Computing resources are not shared with other WebDisk Cloud Computing clients.

This guarantees higher performance and better control over the environment. Billing includes the cost of the entire reserved pool of dedicated servers on a monthly basis (postpaid). This variant is designed for large clients requiring their own resources.

Shared Variant

Our client purchases a package of virtual resources – a strictly defined pool of CPU/RAM/Storage (quota) of established value. The size of the resource pool and its cost are negotiated during the contract signing with WebDisk.

A major advantage of this approach is the ability to launch your own computing cloud on relatively small resources (e.g., 100 vCPU, 1 TB RAM). Resources can be renegotiated, expanded, or reduced at any time.

The shared variant means that virtual resources (VMs and others) are launched on physical servers within the overall WebDisk Cloud Computing hardware pool. Due to flexibility, this variant is dedicated for smaller clients.

What do you get in the package?

Under the agreement, at no additional cost, the client receives introductory training. It covers operating your own cloud in every possible aspect – from creating hardware profiles, through configuring pricing, to managing virtual resources.

Additionally, the client can contact us with any questions and concerns. Our CMP portal is intuitive to use, and users have access to detailed documentation – both user and administrator guides.

Globally Shared Resources

Regardless of the chosen variant – dedicated or shared – there is a pool of resources shared globally within WebDisk Cloud Computing. These include:

  • storage layer (including Object Storage S3 services),
  • access to Internet network,
  • physical network backbone LAN.

Upon special request from the client, with long-term contracts, it is possible to provision a completely dedicated hardware environment. Due to the specifics of such a solution, it requires an individual approach. However, we are open to all the needs of our Clients.
